Greyhound Racing Bets

Fixed Price and Starting Price
There are two types of Price beting on offer:

Starting Price (SP): The Starting Prices for all runners is available after the race is declared Off. The Starting Price is used in Bet Settlement.

Fixed Price: Available for runners a few minutes before the race is due to start. These prices can change at any time untill the race is declared off. The current price at the time the bet is placed is used in Bet Settlement. Note: If there are Non-Runners in the race the fixed price will revert to SP.

Win Bets
When you want a particular selection to Win. To add the selection to your bet coupon, just click the corresponding "Fixed Price" button or "SP" button next to the selection .

Each-Way Bets (Win andPlace)
Some events allow "Each-Way" betting. "Each-Way" allows a WIN bet and a PLACE bet of the same stake, on the same selection. The PLACE bet allows you to bet on a selection to finish 1st or second, and somtimes even 3rd. The Odds of the PLACE bet are a portion of the Odds of the Win Bet.

The event title will contain the each-way terms for that race.

Each-Way terms are displayed as: (1/divisor and range of "places" offered)

If the each way terms are (1/4 1-2) then the Odds for the place bet will be divided by 4 and the selection must finish 1st or 2nd.

If the each way terms are (1/5 1-3) then the Odds for the place bet will be divided by 5 and the selection must finish 1st or 2nd or 3rd.

Clicking the E/W button next to the corresponding racer will add a Win bet and a Place bet to your betting coupon (All Place bets must be accompanied by an equivalent Win bet.)

The Odds for the Place bet are calculated by taking the Odds for the Win and dividing them by the divisor.

If your racer wins you will be paid out on the win bet and the place bet. If your racer does not win but does "place" then you will be paid out on the place bet only.

Be aware that the Odds of a selection are  the (Rate - 1):

if a divisor of 4 is levied against a rate of 7.00, the place rate would be ((7-1)/4)+1 = 2.50

if a divisor of 5 is levied against a rate of 11.00, the place rate would be ((11-1)/5)+1 = 3.00

Forcast and Tricast Bets
Some events allow forcast betting and tricast betting. Forcast betting requires you to predict the racers that will finish in 1st and 2nd place. Tricast betting requires you to predict the racers that will finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

When placing a forcast or tricast bet, click the "position" checkboxes, labeled "1st" and "2nd", next the selection that corresponds to where you want that selection to finish.

If you want to place a forcast bet for racer 4 to finish in 1st place and racer 6 to finish in 2nd place the click the checkbox in the "1st" column next to racer 4 and click the checkbox in the "2nd" column next to racer 6. Clicking the "Forcast" button will add a forcast 4-6 bet to your bet slip.

If you want to place a reverse forcast bet (your two chosen racers will finish in 1st and 2nd place in any order) then you should click the "1st" and "2nd" checkboxes next to each racer. Clicking the "Forcast" button will add a forcast 4-6 and a forcast 6-4 bet to your bet slip.

If you think that racer 6 will win but cannot decide who will come 2nd, you can select the checkbox in the "1st" column next to racer 6, and then select the checkbox in the "2nd" column next to as many racers as you wish to create multiple forcasts. Clicking the "Forcast" button will add a the individual forcasts to your betting slip for racer 6 to come 1st and your other selections to come second.

Tricast bets work in the same way as focast bets except you also have to predict the racer that will finish in 3rd place. Create tricast bets by clicking the corresponding checkboxes in the "1st" and "2nd" and "3rd" columns of the racers you require.

You may play single bets on any selection or you can play multiple combination bets with selections from other events.
You can play forcast or tricast bets only as singles. you cannot combine these selections in multi-bets.

Combination Betting

Minimum Bets:
There are no minimum bet requirements for racing events. Any selection can be played as a single bet.

Multiple Bets :
Multi-bet combinations are allowed for all events, with the exception of forcast and tricast bets which are singles only.

Three selections from three separate events,  may be played as singles, doubles, trebles or all combinations. Use the combination dropdown list to specify the multi-bet type you want.

The default combination on the bet slip is set to accumulator: if you have 3 selections, trebles is automatically selected. If any of the selections are forcast or tricast, singles will be automatically selected and only singles bets will be allowed.

Each Way Doubles, Trebles, etc. are struck as two distinct bets: Win on to Win and Place on to Place.

An Each Way Double consisting of Racer 3 from Race A and Racer 6

Bet 1
Racer 3 to win
Racer 6 to win

Bet 2
Racer 3 to place
Racer 6 to place

If there are not enough place selections to create the requested multi-bet then the place bet will not be allowed.

An Each Way Treble consisting of Racer 3 Each Way from Race A, Racer 6 Each Way from Race B, and Racer 4 Win only from Race C would only produce the Win bet as there are not enough Place selections to create a treble:

Bet 1
Racer 3 to win
Racer 6 to win
Racer 4 to win

Limits
